We are a growing electrical and civil contracting business working across a range of projects. We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts & Administration Officer to support our operations and keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.
Role Overview
This role will suit someone who’s confident with numbers, organised with admin, and comfortable using accounting and job management software. You’ll be working closely with the team to manage accounts, process payments, and assist with general office tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Process invoices and reconcile accounts using ServiceM8 and Xero
- Allocate supplier invoices to corresponding jobs and update material usage
- Prepare weekly batch payment files for upload to NAB
- Create purchase orders and manage bill entries
- General email and document management
- Maintain and update safety forms and SWMS for upcoming jobs
- Assist with tenders, forms, and general job documentation
- Payroll, superannuation, and Co-Invest payments
- Regular account reviews and payment scheduling
- General bookkeeping support and tidy-up of Xero files
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with Xero and ServiceM8
- Solid accounts payable/receivable and payroll knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience in the construction or trade industries
